BYO Kits by Straub Tech

These kits (Build Your Own) are designed to be complete packages for the power enthusiast who wants to make his own HP. Each kit comes with name brand parts featuring Dart, AFR, Scat, Eagle, and many others. Kits consist of a fully machined DART block ready for cleaning and assembly, a fully balanced rotating kit balanced to industry race standards of less than 1 gm per end, and with endless options of induction, oil system and valvetrain combinations.

All Complete engine packages also include FREE Freight to your local UPS freight terminal. This means all you have to do is drive to your local UPS freight terminal and pick up your pallet of HP.

Labor included:

  • Bore and Hone with Deck plates Piston to wall clearance is determined by application of the engine and piston mfg.
  • Finish Decking for proper gasket surface
  • Line hone block to OEM tolerance and trial fit bearings for proper clearance for application
  • Hone Lifter Bores
  • Clean Block*
  • Install Cam Bearings
  • Install Freeze Plugs and Cam plug with epoxy
  • Pin Fit Rods
  • Pin Fit Piston
  • Check all Big ends of all rods for proper housing diameter
  • Complete Race Balance Job

*NOTE we completely wash block and prep surfaces with anti corrosion product.
